It was in 1951 that S.M.Oswal & Co. the textile showroom was started by Sri Sumerchand Jain with the aim to create a business base in Mysore. Later in the late 70’s Mr.Ashok Jain & Mr. Praveen Jain (Sons of Sri Sumerchand Jain) elaborated the business into Textile Trade, Selling Cotton Fabrics, Blankets & wholesale trade in Synthetic Fabrics.

In 1988, our business took a new dimension into construction material business. In 1988, we started distribution & Trading of Marble & Granite Products in and around Mysore. Our second step towards building material products was in 1996, when we started our distribution and trading network of ceramic tiles, sanitarywares and bath fittings.

On 20-12-2004, we came up with a building materials park with the aim to cater all building requirements under one roof. We deal in the most superbrands as Jaquar, Hindware, Kajaria, Sonora, Nirali, Franke, R.A.K, Century, Floriana, Regent, Qualicrete, Carysil, Jaquar Breuer, Jaquar Artize, Jaquar Idroform, Jaquar Siamp, Jaquar AO Smith, Racold, Viva, Asian at our store Etc.
